Leave the "pause" check box blank. Press the green "S" to submit your banner and your banner has been submitted!. Repeat the process one by one and press the green "S" button after each of your five banners. (The Red "X" button deletes your banner.) You are done - it is so easy at Hit Gusher! Now all you have to do is wait for the banners to be reviewed - this normally takes an hour or two.

We reject sites, banners and text ads
for a number of reasons including:-

1)The URL was unreachable.
2)The URL is parked or suspended.
3)The URL contains broken images.
4)The URL is incomplete or under construction.
5)The URL contains offensive visual or audible material.
6)The URL contains illegal or unpleasant content.
7)The URL violates our rules or terms of service.
8)The URL has more than one popup or the popup has popups.
9)The URL is either a frame breaker or locks the frame.
10)The URL stops the timers or interferes with the surfbar.
11)The URL takes too long to load. Our slowest surf timer is 18 seconds.
12)The URL loads or attempts to load-spyware.
13)The URL loads or attempts to load malicious or unwanted software.
14)The URL is of no value to our surfers in general.
15)The URL has a short duration leaving us with dead or expired content.
16)The URL is being used for link building or click revenue.
17)The URL is being used for PTP, PTC, PTR or HYIP.
18)The URL is for a Beta or Test site. (Leaves dead or expired content.)
19)The URL is a pre-launch. (Leaves dead or expired content.)
20)The URL is a blog with only one post and no contact details.
21)The URL is restricted to viewers in certain countries only.
22)The URL has been reported by another surfer.

We do not arbitrarily delete reported sites. We examine them
carefully to see if the complaint is valid.

We also only accept 468*60 pixel banners as this is the only
size which fits properly in our surf bar.

Text ads are rejected if the message is nonsensical or are
over capitalised.

One of the most common problems is the use of a double
http:// in banners and URLS.

We apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused but we
are dedicated to building a quality exchange!

If you feel your site/text ad/banner was unreasonably rejected,
please check that it can be reached and has no broken images
first. Then submit a support ticket from your control panel and
we will review it again. We do make mistakes and we will always
try and help!

Here at Hit Gusher we try to keep our exchange free of pages that do not exist, are expired or go to URLs that do not work.

Accordingly we spider all URLs in the exchange on a regular basis and pause them if we find a problem.

If a problem occurs, the page/banner/ad is taken out of rotation and paused. We advise the member of such a problem by email. Our Staff will then manually check it to see if the problem was temporary or permanent. In the event that we encounter a permanent problem, we delete the site/banner/ad.

Members can speed the process up by using the Add or Edit Button in the back office and change the paused status.

Sure we do! Once you are in your back office, look along the first row of icons and you will see the very first one says "Add or Edit Websites Ads". Select this option. Towards the bottom of the page you will find a line that says something like:- Your Free Hit Gusher Website Rotator : http://hitgusher.com/rotator/57962 Copy the : http://hitgusher.com/rotator/57962 part. (It will have your Hit Gusher Id not 57962 in it.) Submit this to all the other traffic-exchanges you belong to and we will rotate through ALL the sites you have submitted to Hit Gusher when your rotator URL is called by the other Traffic-Exchange. This is a great labor saver as you only have to submit one URL to any other traffic-exchange. Just another way Hit Gusher is working for you!

Sure we do! In your back office go down to the second row and select the "Get Banner Codes" option. Put your mouse pointer over the code in the box and right-click. Choose select all. Put your mouse pointer in the box again and right-click again. Choose copy. Paste this code into any or all of your websites to show banners from the Hit Gusher rotation. For every banner shown on your site you will receive reciprocal credits at Hit Gusher. This is another simple but powerful way to rack up web-credits at Hit Gusher!

In your back office go down to the third row and select the "Get Text Ad Codes" option. Use the tools to select the style and colors for any text ad combination. Select "Create Code" followed by "Copy Code". Paste this code into any or all of your websites to show text ads in the stye you selected from the Hit Gusher rotation. For every text ad shown on your site you will receive reciprocal credits at Hit Gusher. This is a second simple but powerful way to rack up web-credits at Hit Gusher.

Once you are in your back office, look along the seventh row of icons and you will see the second one says "Join These Programs". Select this option. You should now see a directory structure with categories in it. Go to each category that has a number greater than 0 in the brackets. Select them one by one and for each program fill in your ID number for that program. If you do not have an ID select "Visit Website" in the top right hand corner of the box and join the program. After you have filled in your ID select the stiffy disk icon to the right of the ID box and your ID will now replace the member above you. This means that anyone you recruit will go to YOUR ID. This is a very powerful way to build you online presence. Take the thirty minutes off and get through the downline builder. It is worth the effort.

Yes you can. Go back to the back office and select "Add Downline Program". In the "Program Name" box type the name of the program. eg Hit Gusher or Cognigen. Do not type sales stuff. Next in the "Program Description" box type in a concise description of the program. Do not exaggerate or put in sales stuff please - just an accurate description of what the program does. eg Manual Traffic Exchange". In the "Category" drop down choose the category that best fits the program. In the "URL" box You need to add your affiliate URL. You need to replace your actual personal affiliate ID with the exact letters [ID] in the URL string. So for example if your Affiliate URL is http://rod.ultimaterep.com/ (great program by the way) you would submit http://[ID].ultimaterep.com/. If your URL was say http://hitgusher.com?r=57962 you would submit http://hitgusher.com?r=[ID]. Finally in the "Referral ID" box you put your actual ID so if this was Hit Gusher for example you would put 57962 in this box. Leave the "pause" check box blank. Press the green "S" button after each one. (The Red "X" button deletes sites.) You are done - it is so easy! Now all you have to do is wait for the program to be reviewed - this normally takes an hour or two. If a site is already in the directory it will not be accepted. This is a first come first served system so get cracking while you can.

Once you are in your back office, look along the sixth row of icons marked "Personal Account" select the icon that says "My Downline". This page is divided into two sections. The top section shows all the members you have personally recruited complete with their contact details. Use this wisely. The bottom section contains all the banners and text URLS you can use to recruit other new members to Hit Gusher. This is important. Every time you recruit a member you get bonus hits added to your account AND you get a percentage of any surfing the new recruit does. What is more if you are a Pro member and your new recruit upgrades to Pro, you will be paid 50% of his membership fee each and every month as long as you both retain your Pro status. While we are at it, we also do not allow autosurfs, other traffic exchange surf pages, link builders and generally nonsensical pages which nobody would click on. Typically our members promote online businesses, businesses tools and business events. As long as these meet with the above guidelines and don't offend anyone then that's fine by us.

You can buy a solo ad from Hit Gusher. This is a one time email to all current Hit Gusher members. You can advertise any page in Hit Gusher to the members AND at the same time your personal account will be credited with 3000 hits.

A Hit Gusher Solo Ad works like this:-

1)Make sure you already have the site you want to advertise in Hit Gusher. You can do this from the Hit Gusher Back office by selecting the Add or Edit Website button
2)Buy the ad using Paypal, Alertpay or Egold.
3)Hit Gusher will credit your personal account with 3000 website hits.
4)As soon as your payment has been received you will be taken to the Write Solo ad page.
5)You write your ad which must link to a page in your account which is in the Hit Gusher rotation.
6)You select the number of hits which will be deducted from the 3000 hits as a giveaway to every surfer who clicks on your ad. This is a great incentive to open the ad.
7)You submit the ad to Hit Gusher for approval.
8)Hit Gusher will review the ad and send it to all current members of Hit Gusher
9)Every time an email link is opened AND the site you chose is viewed for 20 seconds by a member your account will be reduced by the number of clicks you chose to giveaway.
10)The surfer who opened the emails account will be credited by the giveaway amount provided he watches the page for a full 20 seconds.
11)In the event of the total giveaway clicks exceeding the 3000 clicks, Hit Gusher will automatically credit the email readers account so that the purchasers account cannot go negative. The purchaser cannot lose from this.
12)A view can only occur once from the recipient of a solo ad.
13)A solo ad is a one time non refundable purchase.

At the end of every solo ad we send there is an unsubscribe link. Simply follow the link once and you will no longer receive the ads.

A page must not use less than 90% English otherwise it may be paused or removed from the system. The page must make sense even if it is within the 90% range. We reject pages that we think our members will NEVER click on.

You can cancel your membership at any time. However, because it is a Paypal subscription, you must do the following in order to cancel:

1. Login to your Paypal account.
2. Go to the Profile Page.
3. Click on "Pay List".
4. Click on the Hit Gusher subscription and mark 'cancel.'

When your current subscription expires you will revert to being a free member. This costs nothing and you can still benefit from our system and have access to the tools.

If after you have cancelled your subscription, you want to totally delete your account, please return here and use the support system to contact us and let us know you have cancelled your subscription and you want your account deleted. We will then totally remove your account from the system.
